For real PokéFans trying to catch each and every of the 151 Pokémons, here’s someone who already did it!
Meet Nick Johnson, a guy from the United States who has already seen and caught 142 unique Pokémons currently available in the U.S.
He was the first to confirm this publicly on a reddit thread yesterday.
According to the Pokémons anime series of Kanto region, there are a total of 151 Pokémons and the same has been followed in the Pokémon GO game. Out of these, we can certainly say that 142 are available in the U.S. and the rest, still unknown or not yet available.
Out of those 9 remaining, the 3 legendary birds, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres aren’t discovered by anyone yet (there’s a reason they’re called the legendary birds) and other 2 out of the remaining 6, Mew and Mewtwo are exclusively rare and again, no one have found them yet.
Talking about the other 4, rumours are that they’re region exclusive, which is false; but still, haven’t been possible to catch by Nick.
Though, catching 142 Pokémons is heck a lot of hard task and he has done it successfully.
His journey includes exploring throught specific time of days and even long nights, trying to get every possible Pokémon out there.
What was more that, he even hired a Uber cab that helped him caught his last Pokémon, Porygon which is again very rare Pokémon to find.
According to him, 3 of the 4 which he wsan’t able to find are region exclusive – Mr.Mime, Kangaskhan and Farfetch’d being available in only Europe, Australia and New Zealand though we think that’s not true.
Even while working in daytime at a startup, Nick was still able to catch almost all of them by going out and trying it in the night time.
Gotta catch ’em all!
